How Can I Help

I work with adolescents and adults, with a particular focus on young adults in their late teens and twenties. People come to me seeking help with anxiety, relationship difficulties, attention issues, and academic challenges. Often, they feel stuck, struggle with motivation, or have trouble launching into adulthood.

I strive to be attuned not only to my patients’ internal pressures but also to the external realities they face—economic precarity, climate anxiety, political polarization, and the pervasive uncertainty of modern life. I conceptualize individual challenges within this broader social context, with an appreciation for the vital importance of strong relationships and a sense of belonging in community. I work collaboratively with patients to help them grow more comfortable with their emotions, shift unhelpful patterns and behaviors, and build inner resources to foster deeper connections with others and a greater sense of purpose.

My therapeutic style integrates experiential and psychodynamic approaches. This means I help you connect more deeply with your emotions and bodily experiences in the present moment, while also exploring the unconscious patterns and early life experiences that may shape how you relate to yourself and others. With warmth and authenticity, I take an active, guiding role—rather than simply sitting back and listening. I hold deep respect for your unique life experience and recognize that you are the expert in your own life, including how your intersecting identities inform both your strengths and your challenges.

My Training

I hold a Master’s degree from the Smith College School for Social Work and have completed extensive training in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) through the AEDP Institute. Before entering private practice, I worked as a staff psychotherapist at the Fifth Avenue Counseling Center in Manhattan and the Neighborhood Counseling Center in Brooklyn. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (NYS #089410).
